Titania is the largest moon of Uranus and the eighth-largest moon in the solar system. It was discovered in 1787 by William Herschel. Titania is composed mostly of ice and rock, and its surface is covered with impact craters, valleys, and ridges. It has a thin atmosphere consisting of nitrogen and methane. The moon is named after the queen of the fairies in Shakespeare’s play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
