TOI-5678 b is a Gas Giant located in a star system about 539 light-years from Earth, the exoplanet is 20 times the size of Earth.

The acronym TOI stands for "TESS Objects of Interest." The planet was found by various other scientists on, or in association with the TESS planet hunters team. They looked through dips in eclipsing star brightness. That were categorized as potential exoplanet candidates by volunteers of the Planet Hunters citizen science project. The planet was characterized and confirmed by a team of formal scientists including Solené Ulmer-Moll. The latter, are co-authors of the original discovery paper per industry standard and practice. The collective team of expert astronomers and citizen scientists publicized the discovery.

The planet was discovered in the year 2023. It has a mass comparable to the likes of Neptune, and completes its orbital period around its host star TOI 5678 every 47.7 Earth days. The Gas Giant rests outside of its star system's habitable zone.
