Hawking Radiation is what black holes emit (theorizing that black holes are not entirely black). This phenomenon is named after the British physicist Stephen Hawking . It is a thermal radiation that black holes emits due to quantum effects, therefore losing its mass. This is called black hole evaporation and it only have an effect on tiny black holes. Black holes with a mass of 60 suns takes billions of years to fully dissipate.
